Is php any good nowadays?

your opinion on php is it worth to learn it?

Personally, I prefer Javascript (backend and frontend). But learning PHP is still worth it, because PHP has a large community, many frameworks and is widely used in web development.

A lot of websites still use PHP, however many migrate to nodejs for their backends. I'd say it's still worth is tho

A Lot of people still use PHP in there code. Facebook and more. It is not a dead language and is a easy one to learn in my opinion.

Php is still being in use by huge ammount of people due to easy construction. Personnaly i will use js in future but php is still enought.

i still use php since i learned it ages ago. but i think nowadays there are better languages to learn. Javascript seams like a great option. But to be honest give it a try. its easy to learn and has easy understandable errors. so you won't feel lost. once you reach your first dead end

imo its a bad clunky language better off using a JS framework like react

not worth it, it is still popular, but now full stack progers are valued higher and earn more
