how to learn

I think the best way to learn is to simply play with the tools and figure out what they do. Simply playing with them and figuring out what you can do with them is the best way.

Go on youtube there is so much knowledge on there for FREE. I learned everything on there, and plenty of forums as well

As other people have stated here, youtube is really gonna be great for you. I was taught in school and all the professor did was hand us a book with a tutorial in it that didnt show us the finished product and he would critique that.
