This is a very interesting question. Does the ability to restore them also accompany this power or is it a one-way street?

Being able to erase my own memories would allow me to enjoy media that I really enjoyed. But if I did it every time I wouldn't be able to "build" on the viewing experience.

I think erasing someone else's memories is a kind of violation. Like a moral and ethical violation. But if it were like a consensual service, where they select the memory and I erase it for them, then I could see it being a valuable service. But just using it on unsuspecting people is a no-go.

I feel like if I said my own that would be extremely taboo, considering there's people with dementia that absolutely cherish what little memories they have left. I feel that memories are an integral part of human growth, so I can't say I'd want the power to erase other's either. (Although it'd definitely be useful in embarassing/awkward situations)

Probably erase my own cause i need to start a new life where i don't recognise some that wronged me and for others that stayed by my side i'll still cherish them and hope i can recollect what they did to me so i can appreciate them back.
