We are living in the world of anime with therise of the Isekai category, I've seen thatauthors and mangakas are getting obsessed with this kind of story, a normal high schoolstudent with a lame and boring lifegets summoned to a fantasy world with ridiculousbuffs like having an ability to kill any god-tiermonster with a finger snap or can destroy a whole mountain just by swinging their sword unintentionally...

But you know the worst thing about this kind of manga? They usually come with the harem and ecchicategory.

Please tell me what you guys think because I need to know people'sperspectives on this problem,

Ive only seen a few isekais but I know what you mean, they kind of just all follow the whole theme of powering up until they fight god like characters and win every time

Yes. But its to be expected since its one of the most popular genres in Japan and even if a good isekai is released, there is no guarantee that it will be noticed due to the extreme competition in the genre.

Kinda unrelated but there's a good manga that isn;t isekai, but is set in a medieval-fantasy world called The Dragon, The Hero, and The Courier which kinda shows the daily life in that world. If you've read a lot of isekai, it really is a fresh breath of air in comparison.

Yeah, they try to change it to be slightly unique somehow some way but in the end still the isekai genre we know.
