I mean, what games that were bad on release became good after? No Man's Sky is one for me.

Can't really think of one from the top of my head...
I would have personally wished for Cyberpunk to be the case, but it was shit at launch and it's still shit now, months later.

Hopefully, when they launch the next gen version, they will improve a bit.
