FPS games can be more enjoyable because it's easier to play shorter sessions whenever without a long time commitment, but they can also become repetitive in the long term. A combination of MMO and FPS like Destiny 2 can help balance it out to get the best of both.

fps games are better in my opinion because its not as boring

First person shooters are usually more translatable between games and have the same concepts, MMO's are usually a clusterfuck.

i used to enjoy fps games having fun shooting but now i've stwitched to mmo idk why

I'd say FPS just because of the experience and how much more interactive it is.
