I used premier pro a lot in school but I do find Final Cut easier to use, its more intuitive

Depending on the editing style, if it's simple I'd go for Premiere, and if you need vfx, go for AE

i've been using Vegas since like 2010, and the only reason I still use it is because of that - i'm so comfortable with it. I really want to use Premiere, but it's so tedious because everything is so different. If anyone has any good guides/tuts pls send em my way

davinci all the way! for organizing footage, cutting and editing, colorgrading and exporting. its so fast its beautiful. even 8k footage is no problem and can be playedback in realtime. not like premiere and ae. for vfx i would still prefer after effects, because i dont know much about this "node-based" workflow in davinci. its super intuitive und has a very good learning curve. give it a try and you will uninstall the rest :D

Adobe After Effects and in terms of 3D I would say houdini and blender if you are a freelancer
