League is forever. Riot really found a good way of keeping all the players intrested in game by changing meta all the time I guess

I think LoL will die if a better replacement comes around. The same was said with Myspace, people said it would never be replaced but once Fb entered the market it was all over. Or the same with Nokia phones before the iPhone

there's still 100k players on dota 1 ICCUP, league and moba's in general will never die imo

not much if this toxicity remains

It will stay for a couple more years. Something better has to come around, but that is unlikely considering how much time the devs had to fine-tune the mechanics.
