XenForo 2.2.9 Released
XenForo 2.2.9 is now available for all licensed customers to download. We strongly recommend that all customers running previous versions of XenForo 2.2 upgrade to this release to benefit from increased stability.

It is still quite early, you'll just have some patience and wait. xuromi is pretty good at keeping up with the releases, so if you are lucky you would have it within the end of the month.
By the way that is not an invitation to bother them when they will release it, I am 100% sure they will release it when they are good and ready.
