Is it too late to come back?

I started playing genshin during the first lantern rite event (ganyu debut banner) and i was a regular player who grinded and actually cared about my builds and damages and ive actually whaled a bit... it was really fun for me but then school started and there were too many events happening and i couldnt keep up so ive stopped playing the game since they released the chasm because it was too much for me (i suffer from a terrible case of fomo) but now im thinking about coming back again i really like yelan's playstyle and i really miss doing the spiral abyss also its summer break and genshin is the only game i can play.. is it worth it bc i have to redownload everything all over again lol
