Hi guys,

I'm not sure if it's a bug or if it's because I'm using an outdated version of forum themes/tabbed menu (I'm using mybb1.8.7).

But, the tabbed menu isn't showing as I want it too, compared to how they show on other sites. Can anyone quickly provide assistance to a fix?

Just edit the CSS of the buttons. If you want the same just inspect element > sources and find the source of it.

Are you using MyTabs, because it looks like it...

If you are using Tabbed Menu, you can edit the tabs.css.
Code:
.shadetabs{
padding:3px 0;
margin-left:0;
margin-top:1px;
margin-bottom:15px;
list-style-type:none;
text-align:left;
font-family:Roboto,Arial,Sans-Serif
}

.shadetabs a:hover{
background-color:#404040;
-webkit-transition:background-color 50ms linear,color 50ms linear;
-moz-transition:background-color 50ms linear,color 50ms linear;
-o-transition:background-color 50ms linear,color 50ms linear;
-ms-transition:background-color 50ms linear,color 50ms linear;
transition:background-color 50ms linear,color 50ms linear
}

.shadetabs li a.selected{
position:relative;
