Open Bootloader
Install CM Zip, Gapps, recovery
Go to recovery
?
Open Gapps
Wipe phone memory
Install CM
Profit?

I have no clue what I am doing. Any direction would be coolio

What's your carrier? If you have a certain carrier, it's currently impossible to unlock the bootloader. Also, what bootloader firmware are you on? Some of the later ones are pretty much locked down so you can't do shit.

Also, the order of operation is wrong.

1. Root
2. Install recovery
3. Make a nandroid
4. Upgrade/downgrade firmware as necessary (if possible)
5. Factory reset (wipe data, system, cache, dalvik)
6. Install ROM zip, then kernel, then modem if necessary
7. Install SuperSU zip
8. Init boot, setup connections and accounts
9. Open SuperSU, set to run at boot and default access to Grant
10. Shut off, wait 5 minutes, boot up again. Leave sitting for 30 minutes at least.

That's something incredibly dangerous to do in the Android flashing scene. Many incompatibilities with things, and things tend to break easily if not done properly. Source: ROM dev for S4 Verizon (private)

What you do is you take the phones battery out. stab a hole through it (does not matter what you use to do this), quickly place it on your temple. Wait. Profit.

I installed it in a completely different way.

1. Download Samsung USB Drivers, CM, Odin3, gapps and CWM or any similar custom recovery.
2. Install Samsung USB drivers on your pc
3. Put Gapps and CM on your microsd card
4. Put your phone in download mode and connect it to your pc
5. Start Odin
6. Select CWM or your custom recovery as PDA in ODIN (Don't change any settings)
7. Start the upload
8. After it's finished and odin says "ok" start your phone in recovery mode
9. Perform a full wipe (Cache, Data, Dalvik Cache) (From this point on all your data is void so make sure you have a backup of your data). OBVIOUSLY DON'T WIPE YOUR MicroSD CARD
10. Go to install and search for your CM.
11. Install CM
12. Go back to install and install GApps
13. Install Gapps

Remember that ]by installing CM your phone also will be rooted! Do not install something like SuperSU afterwards.

Edit: Also make sure that you got the correct CM and custom recovery for your phone.
If you install something wrong it either won't install or you will brick your phone.
Also your trianglecounter will go up. You could use triangleaway after installing CM but TriangleAway also could brick your phone.

You're fucking stupid, right? Google doesn't encourage installing Cyanogenmod.

How about you do research before you post another bullshit post?
yeah
