Anyway OP, if you want this VPS to be long term (longer than a couple week) then free methods are not ideal or worth the time. You should checkout Vultr, they have a $50(or 60) free trial. You only need to add a card and it doesn't charge you- except the 2 to verify the card which they refund afaik.

Free ones exist when you social engineer them.

Must have shit staff if they are vulnerable to SE.
Hosting companies should ask for invoice numbers. If it isn't an invoice on your account and no funds were sent from you, you don't get shit, or at least that's how I work. You'd have to SE the payment gateway to get anywhere with most hosts.

Well.. It is some what SE'ing not completely free VPS. But I ordered VPS for $20. Then downgraded and did some shit and refunded the whole thing. Got $10 in my balance and still $20 VPS. It was not a exception. Their algorithms are broken if you downgrade and then refund you get profit for some reason.

i never seen Free VPS and if i did would not use it i am happy to pay for my VPS simply because its fast has lots of Hard drive space and good bandwidth speed and has yet to even go down.
