I do agree that the government did not react fast enough since if we add a some sort of protection before it started spreading in the US we could've dampened not just to US citizens but citizens all over the world

I had covid 3 times.
1st time was by far the worst. Almost hospitalized. The second and third times, I wouldn't even had known if work had not made us get regular testing.

Well even if it isnt fake look at all the bad stuff our governments have been pushing their record with trust isnt too great especially in recent years

I think no matter how the government responded, there would have been those using the opportunity to politicize those who would have inevitably died.

Vaccines have clearly staved off serious symptoms for many who were infected and hopefully long term effects won't be an issue.

i think i have covid but to be very honest it could be dengue i dont really know the symptoms are like fever and cough and flu and all that
but i didnt lose sense of taste
however for a day or two tea did taste weird but that could have been the medicines messing with the taste of my mouth to be honest

It looks like covid will soon become endemic, what we need to watch out for now is monkey pox where in my country there are already infected.
