WHY THE SEARCH OPTION not placed in the top navigation

i'm new to this wonderful forum, and i have a doubt.

it is in the footer but generally you'll find that in the top navigation just for better user experience.

Its at the top for me when using mobile, is it on the bottom on pc?

For me there isn't the search option :>(
