Another Fuck-Up From Activision?

Tons of fans are already thinking about buying Infinite Warfare, and redeeming the code to the Cod4 remaster and turning around to sell Infinite Warfare. However Activision has other plans. Based on the information coming from Activision's F.A.Q about the bundle, it seems as if they will require you to have the disk in your console to play. On the F.A.Q, a question referring to the bundle asks

"Can I play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered without buying Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare?"
With a response of

"No you must own Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in order to play the remastered version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Quote:where the verb used is "play" and not "own" or "buy". It could look like a simple matter of different terms being used in that phrase, but that could actually mean a lot.
This could be just a case of misinterpreting something, but this seems like something Activision would do. We are sure to get more information at E3 so we should learn then.

Wondering how they'd do this on PC, since you never need a disk to download or play it.

You'd have to have infinite warfare on the same steam account then, just like dlc

Well meh. If you buy it on Steam, you don't have a chance without selling your steam account. And if you do that, you won't be able to play COD4 too.
