Can you get in trouble/fined n other stuff for selling something that is not yours? and if so is there away not to?

RE: QUESTION

#2
You can get in trouble for selling copywrited content and other types of products that are protected by publishing laws in your country.

RE: QUESTION

#3
Easiest way to not get hit with anything, is to give credit to the original creator, or ask for permission to use it.

RE: QUESTION

#4
It depends what you mean. If you mean republishing leaks that people have already released yes, as said above give credit to owner

RE: QUESTION

#5
give credit to original creator, or just host a shop from offshore country and steal stuff. court orders from us to an offshore country would make matters complicated. but just read the country's laws regarding copyright and you'll be good to go.

RE: QUESTION

#6
Yes, but most content creator's in the realm of addon creators usually don't have the resources, effort, or incentive to give a damn.

RE: QUESTION

#7
Absolutely, but that doesn't stop sellers on multiple marketplaces from rebranding and repackaging design assets. Take a look on etsy for people selling fonts and stock photos ripped from free sites. Designers typically don't have the resources to scrub every shop for content that looks similar to theirs. That said, doing this consistently is a quick way to get any account under review. Always give credit.

RE: QUESTION

#8
Yeah, big time. There are always people looking.

Depends what your selling, but if someone creates a product they automatically by default have copyright authority over it.
