Alexpill was a project started in November 2nd, 2017. In the following weeks, the forums were officially put up for the gamemode following a mass influx of interest and following after a "shitpost" on nebulous.cloud, a popular roleplaying community, was formed by zigbomb. With a desire to release a project as a finale of his work and experience in the serious roleplaying community on Garry's Mod, it was testified that he would no longer play the game following the release and closure of his upcoming project. He has still not stepped down from this statement. Early inspiration can be marked as the desire to make a comedic and parodic server that played on the architypes teased and abused in popular Cyberpunk 2020 servers, and his intention was to create a short-lived shitpost project which heavily borrowed scripture/text from obscure and misunderstood Alex Jones conspiracy theories as well as The Matrix.
