i dont think anime is for kids and you bring up a good point on how it is gruesome and they arent meant for kids. i completly agree with you. However i think that some animes are made soley for kids entertainment what do you think?

Most certainly not. Anime has a vast spectrum of genres and a lot of them are geared towards adults. The notion that something animated is for a certain audience is a bit outdated in our current times and a lot of animes are derived from mangas (comic books) which has just as big of a diversity.

Some are alright but even a lot of the 'kid' friendly shows have some very weird, fetish-y adult tropes. The nosebleeds and all that shit is weird.

that's a pretty broad question. depends on the anime and it depends on the kid. What do you consider a kid? I'm sure there are anime specifically made for a younger audience. Also, in Japan I'm pretty sure they don't baby their kids as much as we do in the USA. Shit, growing up, there were moms out there trying to ban the first Mortal Kombat, and no, I'm not talking about Mortal Kombat 1 that is soon to be released, I'm talking the Og one! Man, most of us have watched some crazy shit growing up and we are relatively ok. We don't give kids enough credit, in terms of differentiating between reality and fantasy. What I'm trying to say is, reality will fuck you up more than any animation.
