Actually i went into psychology at university, so you will find a lot of differents psychologist who will have differents opinions on the topic, like Freud for example, every trauma that you had in your childrenhood, well will dictate your life, so every single impact that friends, family, everything around you has on you, will push you into a direction, but it is clearly logical in some kind of way, this is the butterfly impact, everything that you are saying to someone, will have an impact at least, if emotionally , it creates an impact for the person, so yes everything will have an influence on your choice, and most likely people, or media, or social apps too.
