Anyone against AI?

agreeing with other people here.. it's just another tool! so long as what its trained on doesn't source from people that didn't consent to it. adobe firefly and getty AI are good on that front, unlike midjourney. midjourney is fun to play with, but it'd be unethical for commercial purposes

I use it for nearly everything

It's alright sometimes it works the way you want it to and other times its plain dumb, but I think it'll help us be more efficient in the end.

i think we must use it like a tool, adapt or die

i think it's good if you use it properly, but i don't agree with it being used to make low effort content especially if it sources from actual artists (eg. typing words to make generic anime fanart vs using it to help you create your own work)

I actually think it can be a useful tool. I'm trying to adapt to it if necessary cause it could change everything. I think it's scummy to claim an AI generation it is your art though

They said the same about photoshop back in the day. Imo our jobs are here to stay. Just different. For me with the automatization I'm able to make more money and do my job faster and easier. The only problem I see is that the job entry skill required goes down which means quality also goes down, AI will not help you solve everything if you lack basic understandings.

i feel as though as long as rules are put in place to make sure it isn't oversaturated in everything being Ai then it should be fine
