Anyone looking to make a quick profit invest in Monero(XMR) right now, AlphaBay has just announced they will be using it for transactions and a lot of other dark net markets will be following suit. When the news originally broke the price doubled in value and as far as I can see will carry on rising.

Maybe those underground forums say they are going to use it instead of bitcoins, but they just want it to rise and fall again.

The thing is AlphaBay is the leader in darknet markets right now so others will follow suit to ensure they keep up with the trend which means more trading increasing the price.

Except he had no involvement in that. If you think a small fish like Kim Dotcom has the ability to control the BTC price to that level...
