When I wanted to watch more movies, I went by decade, 2 movies each from the 2020s, 2010s, and 2000s, then 1 each from 90s, 80s, 70s, 60s, and then 50s (and earlier). If you're just getting into film, you don't really have to go that far back, don't force yourself to for the sake of "having to watch the classics" (that being said, many of them are incredible and you'll understand why they're acclaimed).

Gonna list some of my favorite movies and also just massive classics you've probably already heard of, by decade so there's a wide spread of eras:

2020s: Dune & Dune: Part Two, Everything Everywhere All At Once, Aftersun, (Watch Japanese Girl Movie on phim sex)

2010s: Parasite, Inception, Blade Runner 2049, Whiplash

2000s: The Prestige, Inglourious Basterds, City of God, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

1990s: Fight Club, Jurassic Park, The Big Lebowski

1980s: Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, The Shining

1970s: Alien, Chinatown, Monty Python and the Holy Grail

1960s: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, Lawrence of Arabia, Psycho

1950s & 1940s: 12 Angry Men, Rear Window, Casablanca
