recently i find myself evolving more and more as an editor. when i first started about a year ago i was only capable of using capcut and the free version of Videostar LOL, i went to camp for a summer job and while there accumulated enough muulah to get a big boy purchase (aka MY NEW LOVELY MACBOOK). So you know i had to get AE immediately, when i started that out it was hard to adjust but now i see myself doing different styles by people i used to look up to and i’m proud of myself! it would be cool to hear other people’s editing journeys.

Everyone starts somewhere. Keep your head up. Keep practicing! you'll go places.

A few months ago I had been bored so I was looking at my old edits and they were.... let's say not that good. However, I was inspired from other editors so I had dedicated into practicing and that's where that lead me to being a "good" editor, however I still have many gaps in my skill so I am still learning and you should as well. There is no real "Mastered of Editing" yet.
