Yeah like what people have said in previous posts, cheating takes the challenge away and makes things boring

Personally, I like to play by the rules. For me, the challenge is part of the fun. I’ve spent countless hours enjoying spider solitaire, and the satisfaction of solving a puzzle with just my skills is great. There’s something really rewarding about seeing the game through to the end without any shortcuts. I think that’s what makes victories feel more meaningful. If you’re looking for a fair challenge, sticking to the rules usually makes the game more enjoyable in the long run.

I only "cheat" to skip bad gameplay mechanics.

Like I might mod a game like Starfield to have more money available at stores, since the alternative would be me running and sitting to wait "48 hours" multiple times just to sell my inventory.

Or I may look up an exploit to skip a boring/onerous grind for materials.

I'm too old to let Devs waste my little free time with silly mechanics designed to be grindy for the sake of being grindy.
