Welcome to Astro's first recruitment contest! But before we dive into the contest, let me explain some things about Astro.


What we were, and who we are now.





At first, Astro was strictly a Graphic Design group. That is not who we are anymore. We are now an Art Community. Our main topics are: Visual Art, Music, Literature, and Philosophy. Visual Art can consist of photography, graphic design, painting, vector art, etc. Music can include, DJing, music production, Music Theory, Music History, etc. Literature can consist of poems, short stories, role play, etc. Philosophy is not necessarily part of the Art category, but it's there for the sake of debates, enlightenment, and fun. Let's just say there is A LOT to discuss. But at the same time, we are organized, and clean.



What's in the group?




Including everything mentioned above, there will be original content, private leaks, one-on-one tutorials in subject of interest (if available), high quality members and posts (excluding the dedicated general lounge section of course). There's so much more I don't want to spoil, so we'll leave it withthose general stuff Wink


So what's our goal?




Astro's main goal is to create a cycle of enlightenment, where students become teachers and teachers become students. Our community is maintained, and powered by our own members. Despite the incredible freedom in the group, it will still be heavily monitored.



Our first contest will be under the subject: Visual Art. Contestant can design anything of their choosing. Thread design, logo, userbar, photo manipulation, signature, photography, sculpture, 3d modeling, etc. It does not have to be any of those, they are just examples.

Your goal is to create something that exceeds your limit. Work hard, spend time, and have fun.

Here are the rules:

Only one submission
If element was not made by you, provide a link
You may put a watermark, but try not to go overboard.
You may not use something you previously made.

Winner(s) will be invited into Astro.

At least 1 winner will be chosen, but there's a possibility that there could be more. Contest ends 1/01/17 U.S. Central Time.

If there are less than 5 submissions, this contest will be voided.

Yeah, the post editing pissed me off lol. It's bugged like crazy for some reason. I tried putting spoilers and it screwed everything up, idk why. But I managed to fix it and mess with it becsuse if I did, it would screw up again.
