I don't think he should be thrown in prison for life at all. He's a teenager, like me and many others. We're foolish, have nothing better to do, and we're dramatic. This phase of law breaking and running away from home will definitely fade away.

Well, even then, the worst that'll end up happening to him is a few years in juvi. If he keeps it up, then the consequences for him will definitely get more severe.
