s probably aren't good enough to mine effectively but if you can spare the cash then build/buy a dedicated bitcoin mining machine or rent some cloud based services which would be much better for your situation. Although depends on your interest, if you want to use bitcoins just to do shady transactions then once you are considered "trusted" you'll be able to participate in currency exchanges eg. PayPal for BTC. If you are doing this to make money then I suggest you go with what I have mentioned previously.

How can Istart on bitcoin mining? I've always wanted to do it but Idon't think i have the hardware to do so, Ihavetried downloading the bitcoin wallet but soon i gave up because of how long it takes it said 2 years and 27 weeks of transactions or of something to download left. I have AMD athlon II x2 (overclocked) to 3.8 GHz
with very good cooling and everything is stable and tested, 4GB ram, Ge Force 860 (old) , 500GB HDD and ofcourse my lovely DVD player which gives me that extra performance ; )

I don't believe your specs are good enough to mine effectively, so you might not earn a lot.

Honestly the best way to get bitcoin is investing in it. You'll need money to start off but as soon as you start cashing out and BC rises, your profit will be insane.
