did atom support code completion? I've installed atom but when I type some code, no code completion appeared

I use Sublime 3, I've tested and used brackets, visual studio code, notepad++, atom, etc. Although sublime isn't the most faster, the flexibility and the amount of addons is exceptional.

I use either PHPStorm or Sublime Text 3.

PHPStorm can get a bit bulky though, so I would prefer Sublime Text 3.

Both do have their pros and cons though.

PHPStorm has a great system in terms of semantics and organizing your code. They also have some great tools to do this.

Sublime Text 3 has some extra things that you can download as well, and it's fantastic!
