Is the gtx 980 way better than 970 ?

my carte graphic is 960 :D

I think 970 is far better & specially if you are a gamer.

i run the 980, upgraded from the 680, never tested the 970 so cant say from experience

Depends on price difference. 980 > 970

It goes up in terms of performance, so you have a 950, the lowest end of the 900 series of graphics cards, and it goes up until it gets to the best, the GTX 980ti. So yeah, a 970 is not as good as a 980. But if you're buying a 980 i'd suggest you go and look at buying a GTX 1070/GTX 1080 if you have the little bit of extra money. It's a newer and better card for your money.
