Why do people hack?

I never hacked on CSGO but I hacked in many other games for the simplest reason: was fun. I was playing SA-MP and I had a script that would give me 10000 speed with my car and then bring it back to the original location, people would annoy me and I'd sent them flying.

I presume that the form of "hacking" you speak of is people hacking in games, CSGO for example.
Now I do not consider this real "hacking" as you are not doing any of the work yourself, rather it is being done for you passively.
I can't deny I have done the form of hacking you speak of many times and probably will continue to in the future.
I believe the reason why people do it is because it can be enjoyable to go from always losing or being beaten to being able to reign
supreme over your opponents and be able to almost always beat them in any confrontation imaginable, It just gives you a sense of dominance.

I personally hack for fun

Yeah - I have to admit, I'm probably lying to myself, but if I wanted to play legit I would be paying for ESEA or FaceIT's new anti-cheat client. If you're going to be playing MatchMaking then you might as well cheat considering every time Reddit has an Overwatch Sunday it always seems to hover around 20-30% of players end up being hackers. Out of ten people per game that's guaranteed you're going to get one.

Honest from the back of my hand, I hack because it's fun. Yes it annoying to change accounts on steam, and getting banned is also annoying, but it doesn't beat the fun in hacking, all the trolls I do. Damn I've done so many trolls, I don't play matchmaking, or generally csgo to play with or against pro people, I play it for fun. And somehow this is just how I find it fun.. I also play normally though xD I have a main.

Cheating in Online-Games is lame. In my opinion, it's just funny in Offline-Mode. For an good example: GTA: San Andreas

Well hacking isn't always bad. Your talking about using cheats in games right? I guess because they are awful at the game or they are evil or because they want to try the hacks out for fun and explore. I remember doing a flying hack in a game. It was really really fun but yeah I did it only once.
