Hello,

I recently picked up CSGO and have been trying to get better, I was placed in GN1. But I feel I can do better but was looking for a few tips to improve my general game play.

Thank!

Although others may suggest much more professional tips, I have a few that are obvious.

1. Don't act like a pro or as if it was natural, it makes you look gay. (when you get a l33t kill)
2. If you're a Terrorist, Rush B.
3. Don't brag about top fragging, nor insult others that are doing worse than you. Usually being nice can earn you commends or even a friend to play with.

Crosshair placement is a must...try to always maintain your crosshair where the enemies head is...if you catch yourself aiming at the floor correct it immediately...

As Red said, Crosshair placement absolutely is a number one priority. The second thing is positioning, game sense, and those are just things you learn through playing the game.

However, my biggest tip, is to have fun. There are too many toxic players and don't be afraid to mute them and lose a game. You're playing to have fun and you get better over time, everyone has a shitty game, and eventually there will be some guy seemingly at an airport that is always dead spectating you to let you know what you did wrong after you've done it.

If you wanna troll in Matchmaking: Use for ninjas the gameinstructor. You can enable and disable it with the command: "gameinstructor_enable 1" 1 = on, 0 = off
