Anybody done text animation video for youtube ?

I'm trying to do some text animation video for youtube but seems I need to learn After effects. Any shortcuts ? Online apps, templates etc

I would recommend Sony Vegas. It way easier for newer people than after effects. Just type in anything you wanna learn on youtube, there are 1000s of vegas tutorials.
