Jesus, that's awful, my suggestion would be to call the internet provider and threat them to cut off the internet or to break up the contract via legal terms, in case they don't do something about it. Trust me, they will.

Dont compare your internet to Greece and India ... just dont!

I have 50 down (good) 5 up (bad), however I see around the world even slower speeds, hell some still rely on dial up.
