Mining Bitcoin?

I've seen people mention or talk about mining bitcoin. What even is that? Do any of you guys "mine" it?

I've heard about it and wanted to try it, i think its useless if you do it independntly but rather u should do it in "mining pools"

its a cool concept but idk if i'd want it for myself

it would take few months even year to get your money back once you have it back then thats where the profit comes in if you want to do it fine but i think it's just wasting electricity unless you have windpowered electricity then you could make a lot of money

I do mine it usig nicehash, recommending you too, but you must have a very strong GPU

You can mine other cryptocurrencys with nicehash and it gives you bitcoins
I got 15-19 dollars after a week or two

BTC mining isnt profitable, sometimes when you use big servers.
