Dramatic Photography (Candid)

I snapped a quick picture of a friend at work. I used it to practice my editing.

The biggest issue here is the high-contrast between foreground and background. It alters the focus more towards the background, though the image seems to be take from such an angle that the focus should be on the foreground of the image. Not to mention the lack of proper focus hurts the image in more ways than one would think.

My editing was sloppy Tongue

My goal was to bring out more of the subject and lower the background's brightness a bit.

P.S. I wasn't really supposed to have a frggin DSLR at work so I had to be snappy and I got what I got, an over exposed background and dark foreground. I had to use the ambient light I had Tongue

Looks a little bit like Jake Paul from that angle. But I like it, looks sick!

Fix the lighting a bit, his uniform and such stands out but his face doesn't.
