Web-based Cracker/Checker?

This is possible right? Im thinking of starting a project like this, would be a good idea making it web-based...

It's very possible, I used to go on a site that was open a while ago that did this, it was shut down a while ago though :'(

yeah is possible but maybe it will be down soon because a web based tool maybe will be attacked :s
