Hi there,

I've been using a service called CKEditor, it's a really good text editor to use on admin panels and even in some rare cases I've actually seen some sites use it on the user panels.

It's http://ckeditor.com + they also have a CDN so that you can easily load it over the internet rather than having to download it.

Brackets, brackets is the best. Live editing and seeing your work at the same time as it changes is really cool and efficient. Install different modules, themes and much more. Can be downloaded from
https://github.com/adobe/brackets/releas...e.1.10.msi

The OP was referring to online text editors, such as the one you used to write that ^ post, not desktop text editors.

CKEditor and TinyMCE. TinyMCE is small, fast but sometimes buggy.
