does VAC work anymore?

no one gets banned, anyone know why?

Well it works on CSGO I know that for sure. And anyhow gmod uses GAC.

VAC is disabled for garrysmod....

As far as I know in Garrys mod there are no VAC bans

I do believe VAC still exists in GMod.
The likely hood of getting VAC Banned is minimal though since I believe it detects really old hacks like BaconBot.

But I don't 100 percent know for sure if thats true and I don't plan on wanting to find out.

Vac anticheat is enabled. But cheats from CS will work. Use in cfg: sv_allowcslua 0

Why the fuck would Garry's Mod have VAC... That would be dumb asf.

Yeah, VAC is disabled on Gmod. But you have cake anti cheat on many servers

As long as the hacks aren't old, you won't have to worry about getting banned. It still looks for and bans very simple hacks, but any modern hacks just easily bypass VAC. Especially ones that just execute lua files client-side.
