I've edited multiple themes but when I export them for backups and try installing them they always end up being corrupted, now the question I have is shall I disable all my plugins first before exporting or...?

This has been happening to me for a while now I can't seem to figure it out exactly what the problem is..

Let me know.

Possible plugin themes that exist in the global template return to the original, when you disable all plugins and cause the theme to fall apart.you should backup the theme that is in global template, before disabling all plugins.

You should backup the theme that is in global template?

Usually if myBB searches for some elements in your theme and doesn't find them, it tries to find them in the global main directory. Perhaps this is why the exported theme gets corrupted?

have you ever edited the existing template in global? if not, stay in export theme only. I have never experienced theme corrupted during mybb theme.

I've edited multiple global templates lol like recentthreads, post goal, newpoints, awards, what's that got to do with it being corrupted though??
