I did read that, though I use anime-planet to track my reading/watching progress and I don't want to take the time to go through every anime I've watched. That would take hours to convert

It wasn't until yesterday where I found someone who also uses anime-planet. I've been on Leak for a long time, interacting with many 'weebs'. And not a single person had used or even heard of anime-planet. So it's all good
