Yep, when I first got MW2 on steam. I was young and got bored with it so I download some aimbot menu and then I got vacced because I didn't know that was a thing lol.
I've only used hacks/cheats for games if it made the game fun for everyone involved in a way that the developers of the game did not intend. Anyone remember exploit/glitch levels in LBP?
As everyone here, I cheated on a Steam game, more precisely on MW2. It was funny at the beginning until I've got banned.. I really think that the other cheaters, made me do what I did. I was a teenager (I was not specially thinking in consequences at this time). It was a bad experience seriously.

I remember that this caused a huge banwave in the PS3 scene too. The modding I think was cool for stuff like zombies and other stupid gamemodes lol, but other than that it really takes the fun out of the game when you remove the progressions. Only thing that really holds CoD gameplay up is the competition and objective based modes IMO.

I totally agree with what you've said. As example, the lobbies where used to achieve every achievements in goal to get the prestige or some camos... Personaly, I never did that because it removes the "fun" side of the game that force you to play. A lot of guys also had profit on that to earn money, it was just like shit...

$20 Steam card for unlock all lol
In all seriousness, if there's a fast way to do something and a way to monetize it, people will definitely exploit it in some way, shape or form.
