Because it's really long for creating your own gamemode ; also people maybe don't want to play on other gamemodes than DarkRP... Get it a try by making your own gamemode and you'll see how it takes a long time mate aha

Because people love DarkRP and all other RolePlay real life is a simple copy of DarkRP

I agree. Moreover, many serious RPs are written from scratch, while DarkRP is copied one by one

Because easy and enjoyable. And they love to play RolePlay

+1 on this. I highly agree. But it is the same for all of the gamemode, you have different amounts of trolling.

Every other roleplay gamemode than DarkRP was never liked as much as DarkRP, because it's a gamemode available since few years, it's a stable gamemode (even if several people don't like it)... if you try to create your gamemode, good luck trying to make people will join because the gmod community is close-minded.
