gmod engine is fucked, no matter how good your pc is. you fps still gonna be shit. i got a gtx970 gpu and a 7ghz cpu along with 32gb of ram that still gives me 40-50 fps...

What on earth are you on about? The GMod engine, literally is like one of the most optimised things ever.

Leave the video graphics on low and you should be fine, all of them without a doubt, yeah for sure

Look at your video settings. If everything's all good there, go looking for some console commands to force the game to run on certain DirectX levels

the gmod engine never gets optimized, facepounch or whoever owns gmod never updates it like todays engines mate...

disable m9k weapons smoke "m9kgaseffect 0" type that in the console also lower your settings to medium or low

decrease graphics and go into server where you do not need many addons so you will perform better in multiplayer.

It would take some special orders but I do not get too much.

By command in the cfg in counter strike global offensive
