In the wake of recent GPU price increases, what's your opinion on CPU mining? I'm thinking about building mining rig based on used Xeons or maybe FXes. Also VPSes and botnets seem to be an option too.

CPU mining isn't even worth it. And GPU's have only gotten cheaper, what are you on?

VPN and BOTNETS? What?!

Not worth it at all. You will spend more on electricity and burnt components than you will make.

cpu mining it's not easy and efficent .. if u want to mine , u just mie with grafic cards ..

Mining on the CPU has long been outdated and does not pull out the capacities that are needed. It's easier to mine on the GPU because the performance on it is several times higher. And even the tighter even experts from NVIDIA say that soon the line of processors will go down in the sky for they will be replaced by graphic chipsets.

Of course not, GPU mining is more efficient and better

Mining with a GPU is a lot more efficient than using a CPU, and you can get some good GPUs for pretty cheap

Mine with a GPU it is way more efficient and cheaper right now. Thats why most of the RX 480 are out of stock :(

It is not worth to cpu mining because of the electric fees
