Discord widget on the front page.

Like, i don't know if its possible, but it would be nice to have a widget at the top of the main page or a shared widget to discord so that we can get new members to join. And i don't know if this is even entirely feasible, but a discord chat on the site, which is most likely impossible but hey, one can dream.

I'm New here too, But, That does Sound like a good idea, But Discord chats usually require an invite to join, either a temporary one or a permanent one (And no, I don't know how to generate them)
If you can figure out a way to embed the chat with a link with the invite to join, Then yeah, I would think that it's a great idea to get more people to join the discord server.

There's already a link to the discord on the footer of the forums.

Well, it's their problem if they're so lazy they don't scroll down to the bottom.

And it's not my problem that i like to stay near the top where i can find all my content, as well as, i just looked at the footer, it's a small icon, in the corner of the screen, so its not my problem if people wanna try to find it but visually can't due to how to the side and bottom it is on the website.

They're thinking about doing away with Discord because it removes activity away from the forum.

Why tho? So far it's actually helped bring the community closer together, so i don't see the reason getting rid of it would be a good idea.
