GMod Server Pet Peeves

ITT: Things that almost instantly turn you off when joining a Garry's Mod server. I'll start:

• Loading screen music
  
• Way too many addons/custom content
  
• Server is almost unplayable without donation/VIP perks
  

- I generally enjoy loading screen music.

VIP perks are nice, but you should be able to get around without them.

Custom content should be kept to a minimum and server owners should learn to extract the addon and only make users download the textures or parts of the addon that is used by the server and required to have.
Is a huge mistake many server owners make.

Kid owners. Sometimes they are smart but usually just annoying. They abuse a lot and it makes servers bad.

Even with a teen or adult owner, they can abuse a lot and make a server bad. The sad part is that being a kid or teen automatically makes you a bad owner to anyone older because they just assume they can't do a good job. I'm 15 testing a DarkRP server and I'm hesitant to host anything public because of the stigma around the age group.

The things that piss me off the most would be like:
Loading music because I tend to play with my friends with a vo-ip service like Discord or Teamspeak(less commonly now) and it makes it harder to hear them.
A ton of addons, mostly due to the fact that I have DSL internet with Verizon and they don't serve anything else where I live and it's horrible when I have to download a lot of stuff.
When I finally get on a server and the community is toxic.

Most servers I get on don't seem to have a vip or donator curve, but I also play a lot of DarkRP and they need to have balanced jobs and such or else the server will lose popularity.

Same age, but I have set up servers and they have been doing great. Its not that you can't be that age, if you act professional enough, then you are fine. Kids tend to act silly and not seriously.

personally i have the loading screen music, mainly because it always ends up being either some shitty No Copyright Music dubstep thing, some weird anime shit, or is just bad altogether. that and i usually have my spotifyplaying and it fucks up my music.

I hate staff that are the age of 12 and under I also HATE pay to win servers.
