What makes Star Wars so entertaining?

I've been wondering about this for some time now:

Why do so many people find Star Wars enjoying.

personally it would be because of how unique and how it all turns out in the end, but what do you lads think?

Yeah, uniqueness is one.
But they do a great job at immersing you in the universe.
Makes you attached to their world (more like galaxy), even if it can be a bit shit at times.

It just hits me with waves of nostalgia.

So much so that when I saw this irl, made me tear up. But also be in awe of the show.

Yeah, I love watching the Star Wars movies in the theaters with my friends. It just feels like I know the characters and the setting is extremely fitting.

I don't think I know about any other movies that does exactly that.

I know of a few.
However it is mostly games that make me feel like that.

Hm, plus the lightsabers make them quite iconic as well. Everyone knows what I lightsaber, at least today I'm pretty sure to this date.

Yeah. Even non fans I'm pretty sure know what they are.

i think its the same reason with lotr series (really excited to watch and totally different from our world idk about other things)

guess the story the world its set in factions,guns,people,ship etc

Just the sci-fi and the tril of it helped bring some fantacy to the time

maybe the laser swords and piu guns, and chewbacca, idk
