Java is the best. Pays of in the long run. Learn plsql along with it. Really high in demand if you know both.

I don't see any difference between Java and C++. They feel the same somehow. Both of them are the best progamming languages. I'm just learning Python for now. I started coding by fukin with cmd in windows. Funny story

To the coders out there, what's your favorite coding language, and which would you consider the best?

I'm still using VB, but C# and Python are good too.

There is no best language and each of them have pros and cons, for example, if I want to create a website I prefer PHP, for cross-platform support I prefer Java, for performance/games or any extensive task I prefer C/C++, and for automation/bot I prefer Python.

Logically, it depends on what you're looking to do. Especially regarding web/object programming. Java and Python are pretty good all-around programming languages if you're looking to have a career in Computer Programming. Although with making tools and whatnot, I do prefer working in C and/or Visual Basic.

If you want to make a quick buck, learning javascript will land you the most number of job opportunities due to the sheer number of web developer jobs out there. Building scalable systems is not a bad choice to take either, but requires knowledge of asynchronous programming with a language like go, scala, or rust if you want to work at a top end company.
