javascript is the most spoken language in the world.

javascript on the front end, node.js (javascript) on the back end.

TypeScript...easy yet powerful...the best thing is if you are not very comfortable you can use JavaScript and it will be a valid TypeScript code

The best language is the one that you master, in addition I would not say that better or not depends on the development and needs you should choose which one adapts more

I would take a look at something functional. F# is pretty nice. All the goodies of a functional strongly typed language but a fantastic IDE and development tooling experience.

There is also an excellent job market with serious pay cheques.

you should also check Autoit.
It is very easy to understand and you can create useful bots with it.

as a software developing masters student i'd have to say java and c they are epic but complex especially java requires quite a bit of practice using the eclipse to create classes and the linking between them using recursion.

Assembly is the best language because it is capable of doing everything any other language can do on the same processor.

Once you've written code long enough you start to understand that there really isn't a "best programming language". Programming languages themselvs are just a means to an end. It's like asking "What's the best tool in the toolbox?"
